I had the opportunity to attend a wedding photography workshop this past Monday that was run by James Hazelwood, a great wedding photographer here in Rhode Island and the PPA. It was great to work alongside other great photographers and observe everyone's individual point of views. Thanks to Jim for running the workshop, and thanks Heather, for being a great model. Here are a few images from the day.
The tilt shift lenses are one of those rare lenses with a small amount of legitimate uses, but when it is used well, it really looks great. The tilt-shift effect as used in this video blurs all but a small plane of focus and gives the impression that we are looking at a scale model. It's a real neat look.
Additionally, the 5d MarkII is due to come out in the next month or so. It's what was used in this video. If all goes well, I will be updating shortly thereafter.
Thanks for checking out my blog! Here I will post some pictures from recent projects and maybe some other points of interest as well. Please check back often!
